If your state of health requires urgent medical treatment and you are unable to see a General Practitioner, Rouen University Hospital–Charles Nicolle, will be pleased to welcome you at one of their Emergency Departments :

As regards the cost of medical coverage and hospital costs  :

• If you are a member of the European Community or Swiss : the French Social Security will calculate your medical costs on the basis of the same tariff as the French Tariff. In this instance you should be in possession of a European Medical Health Insurance Card. (replaces application Form E111). For further information contact your local Consulate.

•  If you are not a member of the European Community or Swiss : contact your local Social Security Office
